“ I go to Jimmy’s Sushi on a regular basis and I really love the food they put out. I’ve lived in the eagle river vicinity for a little under a year now and this place is my go to. Every place has its ups and downs but overall this place satisfies. Not a very big location but the food is awesome. Their hot and sour soup (Chinese) is loaded with flavor and really sets well on the stomach. I eat sushi so often I’m really not all that concerned with the presentation of the dish more as the quality, flavor, and consistency. Their two roll lunch special is an awesome deal and filling. Worth the the visit. ”
“ Went there for my sons birthday for the first time and was very impressed. Service was fast and nice, food was great and just loved the vibe. Tried quite a few different items and loved each one. Even the octopus sashimi was good. And they so graciously brought my son complimentary fried Oreos as a happy birthday treat without us even asking! ”
“ This is a hole in the wall typical Asian sushi place. I love the food and the service is absolutely awesome, but you have to get past the grungie; everything is so so good and fresh I try not to look too hard at cleanliness. We have only had one item so far that was not recommended and that was their fried Rice, it was so expensive. It did not taste that great and the quantity for the price was disappointing. We love the Bento box and every sushi roll I have tried has been spectacular. The pricing on those items are reasonable. ”
“ I had the Snow White sushi roll and the crab rangoons. The wrapper for the crab rangoons is thin and delicately crispy so you could appreciate the filling more while still enjoying the crunch. The Snow White roll was really good, it had a lot of flavors that were all in harmony with each other; and the crunchy stuff on top was delicate but very satisfying, making it more unique than most other crunchy sushi rolls I've had in Alaska since coming here. I live 20 minutes away, but I think this place is definitely worth the drive! I have to come back here. Service was quick and polite, it manages to have a quiet atmosphere but still be family friendly too. ”
“ This was a great find on our vacation! We tried driving to a place in Anchorage but there was over an hour wait, so we came back to Eagle River and found Jimmy's. The sushi and sashimi were very generously sized and everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The atmosphere isn't going to win any awards; it's one big room with basic tables and chairs and a few booths along the outer wall, but the food was great! If we lived up here, Jimmy's would be one of our go-to places to eat! ”

It didn’t take as long, but I could tell they made with love and effort. The rolls were so good. The fried ice cream was to die for! My husband had the mango sticky rice, which he liked it very much. I wasn’t a fan. The workers were so kind. You know how normal servers asks “How is it?” after you take the first bite? We’ll, they didn’t do that, which I like. The price was so decent, not too expensive. Overall, the best sushi place I’ve been to thus far. ”
